ADA/Accessibility
Project Salton Sea is committed to providing an accessible and inclusive experience for all guests with disabilities. We strive to make our event as comfortable, safe, and enjoyable as possible.
ADA Integrity & Disclaimer
Maintaining the integrity of our ADA services is paramount. We respectfully request that only patrons with actual disabilities utilize these accommodations. Incorrectly claiming a disability or exploiting ADA resources depletes the support intended for those who require it. Project Salton Sea preserves the right to verify needs or restrict access if misuse is identified.
ADA Wristbands & Access to Amenities
Access to specialized amenities requires an ADA wristband, obtainable at the ADA Guest Services location.
• These wristbands grant entry to designated viewing platforms and facilities.
• Registration requires a valid government photo ID and the collection of basic details.
• Eligible guests are permitted one (1) companion within ADA-specific zones.
• Should space become limited, companions might be asked to move to prioritize ADA patrons.
Mobility Devices & Power
We welcome the use of personal mobility aids, including electric scooters, manual wheelchairs, and walkers.
• Ensure you bring all necessary power cables and chargers for your specific device.
• Minimal charging capabilities may be available at the ADA Guest Services hub.
ADA Guest Services
Our ADA Guest Services station is situated within the event grounds and operates throughout the festival. Assistance is offered in the order of arrival. Hostile conduct or failure to adhere to accessibility guidelines will not be accepted and could lead to ticket revocation.
Registration requires a physical, original government ID; digital replicas are invalid. Valid ID types include State Driver’s Licenses, Passports, State IDs, or Green Cards. No other identification will be recognized.
Visit the booth to:
• Secure ADA wristbands
• Update your designated companion (requires the original companion wristband)
• Inquire about additional support needs
• Report accessibility violations or concerns
Event Terrain & Navigability
Note that the venue landscape consists mainly of soft dirt and sand. We have implemented reinforced, flat pathways to assist mobility. These corridors are for active transit only; please do not congregate in these lanes. A stabilized platform is also provided in the ADA viewing area for your safety.
Accessible / Handicap Parking
• Use of this lot requires a state-issued handicap placard registered to the guest; the placard holder must be physically present in the vehicle at the time of parking (no exceptions).

• A temporary ADA Guest Services kiosk will operate at the ADA parking lot on the festival’s opening day from 12pm–8pm; arrivals after this window must proceed to the main entrance for wristband registration at the primary ADA Guest Services booth.
• All placards will be verified upon entry and must remain clearly visible in the vehicle for the duration of the event.
• Entry to the ADA lot will cease once it reaches full capacity or after 8pm daily.
• This location is strictly for parking and is not a designated zone for rideshare or guest pick-ups and drop-offs.
